And in finally, to finish the theme, here's Tex Avery's classic cartoon, "King Sized Canary."

Journey Into Imagination

One of my favorite pavillions at Disney World's Epcot was "Journey Into Imagination." As a creative individual, I always marveled at the sights and sounds within, the delightful characters and the catchy songs. About a decade ago, they closed the pavilion to "update" it. The ride was gutted and a new version was installed that could charitably be described as done "on the cheap." I've heard that guest reaction to the ride was so poor that they hastily attempted to rework some of the ride's old charm back into it - however, I've not seen the results.

But thanks to the magic of the internet, I can share some glimpses of the original ride with you. Enjoy!

More Games!

I've added six more games to the Gamecreature Arcade. Why am I doing this? Well, I know how you folks like to play games and even at the rate of 1 game every week or two, I just can't do it all myself. I hope you'll give them a try and let me know what you think.

Our Apologies...

It seems that I left out an important piece of code in yesterday's Critter Crunch game. The part that was meant to increase the number of bugs was left off, making for a pretty sedate game. That part has been fixed. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Two steps forward, one step back

Ah, the struggle with programming continues.

But we're getting results. I proudly present you with Critter Crunch, the latest addition to the Gamecreature Arcade. With each of these modest creations, the gulf between what I want to do and what I can actually accomplish with my meagre knowledge of Flash Actionscript gets smaller.

Still, I welcome any assistance anyone out there has to offer. If you've made a game that you'd like to see in the arcade or are a programming wiz that couldn't come up with a game to save your life, I'd like to hear from you. Leave a comment or send me a message. It'll be fun!

Death and Taxes

Yesterday was the deadline to file your taxes. Hope that didn't catch anyone off guard.

So how does everyone like the new games? I'm working on a couple of new ones - hope to have some stuff to share with you soon.

I don't know why it is that I sometimes have problems coming up with entries for this blog and other times I have so much stuff I can't keep up with it. Part of it, I guess, is that there is sometimes a lull between things that grab my attention and imagination so much that I feel the need to share it with the world. Maybe I need to take notes.

So what's up with you?

Game On!

Due to popular demand, I've expanded my game page. It's still not ready for prime time, but I've updated and expanded the links to make it easier to reach from the home page and the comic page. There's currently 10 games there for your enjoyment with more to come! Check it out here.

Oh, and here's this week's cartoon. Will the fun ever stop?

Would you believe...

That the last two days without a post was some sort of elaborate April Fool's Day prank? No? Okay, I really couldn't think of anything to blog about. However, I should have some juicy things to share with you soon. Like this:

Come back soon. And somebody leave a comment so I know you're out there!
