When I was working with John Zakour on the Working Daze comic strip, there would frequently be a nod to our geekiest readers by posting captions in hexadecimal. So this one’s for you, folks.
Once again, some over-exuberant updating and security features have wiped out my library of comics. The comics have been updated again, but all of the titles and commentary are gone. If someone can point me to a cache where the old comic data might be hiding, I could try and put them back in. Right now, I’m not sure if I have the strength.
Some of you might suggest that I use Comic Press to run my webcomic. However, it was a wordpress error that caused this, not the webcomic plugin. And comicpress would force me to change the names of the more than 250 files in my archive – something I’d rather not do. Shoot, if I knew anything about php or mysql, I might try to write something myself. But as I mentioned before, I just don’t have the strength.
